<h2>OnVue Proxy Testing: Is it okay to use my own personal computer?</h2>

Some clients worry their computer has too much personal stuff and ask if they should clean it up or reset it first. That&rsquo;s totally your call - we&rsquo;ll do a virus scan before setup anyway. Still, using a clean, fresh computer is your best bet. It&rsquo;s safer for your privacy and helps avoid any software that might clash with the test browser, making sure things run smoothly.

When it was time to begin the EA proxy exam, the OnVUE system kept having issues. It would log out right after logging in, and the repeated system checks took up a lot of time. Because of this, hardly anyone starts the exam on time.

<h2>What is the SIE Exam?</h2>

The Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam is a FINRA-administered test that evaluates a candidate&rsquo;s basic knowledge of the securities industry. It&rsquo;s the first step for anyone looking to start a career in finance or work for a broker-dealer in the United States.

Key facts:

Length: 75 questions

Duration: 1 hour and 45 minutes

Passing score: 70%

No sponsorship required : you can take the exam even if you&rsquo;re not affiliated with a firm

Valid for 4 years

Once you pass the SIE, you&rsquo;ll need to pass a &ldquo;top-off&rdquo; exam (like the Series 7 or Series 63) after getting hired or sponsored by a FINRA member firm in order to become fully registered.

Well, he went all the way - and got a 340 on the GRE.

Arjun was skeptical from the start. He had seen too many <a href="https://examinator.cc/scams">scams</a> and wasn&rsquo;t going to trust us blindly.
