## Full story

Last year, a customer approached us for GMAT services. After we said that we don't offer escrow services on Taobao, they stopped talking to us. It was evident they didn't want to risk paying the deposit upfront.

A few months later, they got back in touch, saying that they had been banned from taking the GMAT for cheating.

The email from GMAC stated that the customer “accessed an unauthorized item” during their exam:

🇺🇸这位美国纽约的客户透露之前找不专业的中介代考GRE失败，该代考机构使用的是在手机WhatsApp上传输题目的GRE作弊方法，代考老师实时做题并回传答案。

这家不专业的中介采用了手机拍摄题目并通过WhatsApp实时回传答案的作弊方式。 考生需要准备两部手机，一部展示给监考官检查，另一部则秘密藏在桌子上。 中介将客户和代考者加入到同一个WhatsApp群聊，并开启视频通话。

客户将隐藏的手机倾斜放置在肩膀下的位置，即电脑屏幕上方摄像头无法捕捉到的监控死角，以此拍摄题目让代考者看到，随后代考者在群聊中发送答案。同时视频窗口也最小化，以便客户查看聊天内容。 然而，不幸的是，在GRE考试过程中，监考官突然要求检查桌面，客户慌忙将手机藏于床垫下并拿起电脑摄像头配合检查。

由于客户在考试的剩余时间里无法再查看手机中的答案，只能无奈选择取消GRE成绩。

This customer revealed that they previously failed the GRE due to hiring an unprofessional proxy test-taking service.
